Introducing Cellular Hydration

Cellular Hydration, the hyaluronic acid for superior results sourced directly from nature with no animals harmed.

"This product is a game-changer, I thought I was glowing with Clean Collagen, but combined with the Cellular Hydration I wake up with my skin being plump and dewy. A Godsend through winter and shift work as a nurse. Cannot recommend enough if you want to have more youthful-looking skin 🌿"SP

Cellular Hydration adjusts its water retention based on the humidity of the air, so your skin will never look too wet or dry out.

Because of its low molecular weight, it penetrates your dermis easily to secure moisture in the skin and support elasticity and structure.

Did you know Hyaluronic Acids are currently either animal derived or created synthetically?

Our plant antioxidant complex is derived from a single botanical extract, Cassia Angustifolia, which naturally mimics hyaluronic acid, proven to deliver 4 time longer and more hydration than synthetic hyaluronic acid.

This full spectrum Hyaluronic Acid has the unique capability of making up for that lost, naturally occurring hyaluronic acid in your skin, without the ethical and synthetic chemical issues correlated to other hyaluronic acid products on the market.

How Cellular Hydration and Clean Collagen work together

Cellular Hydration will fit right into your current routine - Hyaluronic Acid and Retinol work together to renew skin and provide a powerful boost of hydration.

Cellular Hydration draws moisture to the surface and maintains it for vibrant-looking skin. Clean Collagen upregulates your skin's internal collagen-producing process, essential for skin cell renewal and repair.

Together they result in unparalleled nourishment and hydration for confident, radiant skin that lasts.

The Science - Why Cellular Hydration

Dehydration of the skin is one of the main factors in skin ageing. Hyaluronic acid is essential for skin hydration and the support of vital skin function. It helps to regenerate the skin and slows the ageing process.

Like collagen, hyaluronic acid depletes as we age due to external stressors such as too much sun exposure and environmental pollution. It also is affected by internal stressors like unhealthy foods and lack of sleep.A report in the journal Dermatology Endocrinology describes the process of ongoing exposure to stressors and how they affect the skin's vital ability to retain water through hyaluronic acid: "Skin ageing is a multifactorial process consisting of two distinct and independent mechanisms: intrinsic and extrinsic ageing.

Youthful skin retains its turgor, resilience and pliability, among others, due to its high content of water. Daily external injury, in addition to the normal process of ageing, causes loss of moisture. The key molecule involved in skin moisture is Hyaluronic Acid (HA) that has unique capacity in retaining water.

"When our bodies lack Hyaluronic Acid, skin becomes dry, dull-looking, saggy, and prone to skin infection and blemishes. A comprehensive evaluation of Cassia Angustifolia seed published in the journal Pharmaceutical Biology confirmed the water-soluble nature of the polysaccharides in the seeds and their ability to retain water. Senna is also a potent antibacterial/antifungal which can help with skin infections.

A report published in the Journal of Pharmacognosy and Phytotherapy stated that Cassia Angustifolia extract "possesses remarkable antimicrobial activity and could act as an antifungal agent."

Animals and the untold story of Hyaluronic Acid

Until the late 1990s, the only way of deriving Hyaluronic Acid was to get it from animal-based sources, such as rooster combs and cows eyes. I don't know about you, but I believe these practices belong in the previous century. I also don't want to rub cows eyes on my face! Hyaluronic Acid is also created artificially in the lab generally by harvesting it from Streptococcus bacteria which typically is grown on wheat grains. Streptococci bacteria are responsible for many conditions, including strep throat, scarlet fever, kidney disease, rheumatic fever, impetigo, and cellulitis...
